After the movies, Far From Home and Let It Ride, Jennifer Tilly finally got a role in the 1989 movie The Fabulous Baker Boys, were she got the part of an auditioning singer, Blanche 'Monica' Moran. More roles came such as in the movies Made in America, The Doors and Scorches. Jennifer's big break was in the 1994 Woody Allen movie, Bullets Over Broadway, were she got the role of a mobster wife named Olive Neal. Jennifer Tilly was also nominated for one of the movie portrayals she did and she also got a Theater World Award in 1993 for her role in One Shoe Off.

Jennifer Tilly's celebrity recognitions came pouring and she continued playing poker in the process. She played on the Celebrity Poker which was a televised competition.
